About the job
We are looking for a candidate in public accounting that includes auditing, bookkeeping, payroll and tax preparation. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree up to a bachelor's degree with 3 + years of experience. Ideally the candidate would be working toward obtaining their CPA certification if not already certified.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
Tax return preparation - Business and personal including multi-state
Payroll reporting and bookkeeping
Assist in audit procedures for privately held companies as well as employee benefit plans
Requirements and skills:
General knowledge of federal and state income tax law
Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
Understanding of generally accepted auditing standards
General knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Preferred knowledge of QuickBooks
Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive client information
Bachelor’s degree
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
