Duties
- Assist lead teachers with lesson planning and implementing educational activities aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and preschool teaching strategies.
- Support classroom management by helping maintain a positive, organized, and safe learning environment for children.
- Engage with students individually or in small groups to promote learning, social skills, and behavioral development, especially for children with disabilities or autism.
- Help supervise children during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and transitions to ensure safety and proper behavior management.
- Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress and communicate observations related to childhood development and behavior management.
- Support classroom setup and organization of educational materials, including Montessori or toddler care resources.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student needs and classroom events.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or school settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including special education techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and classroom management tools.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and students.
- Technical proficiency in educational support tools and classroom technology.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in team environments within private schools or early childhood programs such as Montessori or daycare centers.
- Passion for supporting young children's growth and development through engaging activities and compassionate care.
