We are currently seeking Stacker Operators for our Press Room department across all shifts. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for candidates looking to grow with our organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the press operator and roll tender in daily printing operations
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of the press
- Follow the production schedule for printing jobs
- Review job bags to obtain correct job information for stacker setup
- Ensure the correct load flags are being used
- Complete all required information on load flags, including initials, shift, bundle quantities, pallet counts, and net amounts
- Identify office copies using yellow O.C. flags and red crayon markings
- Ensure proper pallets and end boards are used for the product being produced
- Properly identify outside binds and use the correct pallets
- Check signatures for proper pagination and quality
- Continuously monitor jobs to ensure customer requirements are met
- Complete skid logs and return them to the job bag
- Fill in required information in the communication logbook
- Maintain a clean and organized production area
- Set up the stacker to maximize bundle quality and minimize product damage
Requirements:
- Must be reliable with strong attendance and punctuality
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Positive communication and teamwork skills
- Safety and quality minded
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
