A licensed Physical Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide care to patients with various physical ailments. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a compassionate attitude towards patients and a commitment to providing an efficient and effective work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Record treatment data in patient's records.
- Clean patient areas as needed.
- Assist patients with special exercises or techniques.
- Recognize signs, symptoms, and causes of physical problems and refer patients to a physician as needed.
- Perform light cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels with support staff.
- Provide first aid for common injuries.
