ABOUT ITG ACADEMY
ITG Academy is an ACHC-accredited substance use disorder treatment and recovery organization in Prince George's County, Maryland. We offer a comprehensive continuum of care including PHP, IOP, Outpatient (OP), Medication Management, and DUI/DWI programming serving both adults and juveniles. Our 30+ residential beds across five sober living homes provide structured housing that works in conjunction with our clinical programs, The Promise Counseling Center (outpatient therapy), and In The Gap Institute (training and consulting).
We are hiring a full-time Clinical Supervisor to serve in a senior clinical oversight and administrative support capacity. ITG Academy has an on-site supervisor who meets the on-site presence requirement this role functions as an elevated clinical resource: handling crisis calls, supporting counselors and peers in real-time clinical decision-making, attending leadership and clinical meetings, and providing administrative oversight of clinical quality across our full program continuum. Supervisors in this role operate under the oversight of our LCADC (Program Director/CEO), satisfying Maryland's requirement that CAC-level supervisors be supervised by a fully licensed clinician. You will report directly to the Program Director/CEO and work in close coordination with the on-site supervisor.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Crisis Support & Clinical Decision-Making
- Serve as an on-call clinical resource for crisis calls available to staff and clients during designated hours
- Support counselors and peer specialists in real-time clinical decision-making and de-escalation
- Provide clinical consultation on complex cases, co-occurring presentations, and high-risk client situations
- Coordinate with the on-site supervisor on clinical escalations and critical incidents
Groups, Clinical Supervision & Oversight
- Run group from 11am-1pm SUD group Monday-Thursday in-person
- Run group from 1pm-3pm SUD group Friday in-person
- Provide individual and group clinical supervision to licensed, pre-licensed, and peer staff
- Review and co-sign clinical documentation as required by Maryland licensing boards and ACHC
- Ensure all supervisees meet required supervision hours for licensure advancement
- Conduct monthly audits of treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries
- Set and enforce documentation completion standards — no notes left open beyond 24 hours
Administrative & Meetings
- Attend weekly clinical team meetings, leadership check-ins, and quality improvement sessions
- Assist with ACHC accreditation readiness clinical policy review, standards compliance, audit trail
- Contribute to clinical policy development, staff training, and program integrity initiatives
- Report directly to the Program Director/CEO with proactive updates — not reactive ones
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- CAC or equivalent SUD credential active and in good standing in Maryland
- Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field (Master's a plus but not required)
- Minimum 3 years of SUD clinical experience in a structured treatment setting (PHP, IOP, OP, or residential)
- Prior supervisory or lead clinician experience — you have guided other counselors or peers
- Comfortable handling crisis calls and walking staff through clinical judgment calls in real time
- Working knowledge of ASAM criteria, motivational interviewing, and evidence-based SUD treatment
- Strong administrative follow-through — meetings, documentation, and closing the loop without reminders
- Dynamic, energetic, and resourceful — the $42/hr ceiling is reserved for candidates who bring all of the above plus demonstrated leadership presence
NON-NEGOTIABLES
- Active Maryland CADC or CAC credential no exceptions
- Prior supervisory or lead experience in a SUD or behavioral health setting
- Availability for crisis consultation during program hours you must be reachable
- On-site availability minimum 1–2 days/week remainder can be remote
- Willingness to operate under LCADC oversight per Maryland CAC supervision requirements
COMPENSATION
1099/Hr Rate
CAC — entry to mid-level
CAC — experienced, prior supervisory role
CAC — dynamic, multi-skilled, strong leader
- $41–$42/hr (1099)
- 36–40 hours/week — flexible scheduling built around your availability and our program needs
- 1099 structure available
- Supervision hours provided for any pre-licensed staff you oversee
- Pathway to full-time Clinical Director as the organization scales
