Atlas Specialty Products in Anaheim is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our dynamic aerospace manufacturing team. Responsibilities:
- As a member of the Quality Department, the Q.A. Inspector will set up and perform mechanical, visual and first article inspection of moderately complex machined parts and assemblies, to determine precise conformance to drawings and specifications.
- Will perform receiving inspection
- Will perform in-process inspection
- Will perform final inspection
- Must be able to work from moderately complex blue prints, inspection specifications and verbal or written instructions with minimal supervision.
Job Requirements
- Min 2 years Mechanical Inspection experience, i.e. machine shop environment, etc.
- One (1) year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent is preferred
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings - a MUST!
- Requires Knowledge of ANSI/NCLS Z540-1 Requirements, ISO 9001 Quality system
- Must be well versed in inspection measuring equipment for mechanical systems
- Work cooperatively with others in a hands-on team environment
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills
- Requires the ability to interact effectively with others - to include engineering, purchasing, planning and manufacturing staff, as well as with outside suppliers and customers
- Bilingual English / Spanish
- Basic PC knowledge
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
