- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window washing, and restroom sanitation.
- Utilize specialized equipment for floor care and industrial cleaning to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting, and general upkeep to support overall building operations.
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment for staff and visitors.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and restock materials as needed to ensure continuous operations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently while adhering to quality standards.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques such as floor buffing, stripping, sealing, and carpet cleaning is highly desirable.
- Experience with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs and residential painting adds value.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals is important.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely ensures high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is essential.
