Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our operations by performing a variety of tasks that ensure efficiency and productivity on-site. Duties
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently according to established guidelines.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to promote workplace safety.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet production goals.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to the role.
Experience
- Previous experience in a labor or operator role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with operating heavy machinery is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety practices in an industrial setting is essential.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on job responsibilities.
