Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Field Technician to join our growing team. This hands-on position is responsible for assisting with flooring installation/repairs, baseboard and trim work, light carpentry, painting, and other finishing tasks as part of our residential and commercial remodel projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, takes pride in quality workmanship, and provides exceptional customer service on every job site. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. A clean driving record is required as the position involves operating company vehicles to transport materials and support field crews.
Key Responsibilities
Jobsite Support / Handyman Tasks
- Deliver materials, tools, and equipment to job sites in a timely manner.
- Perform minor repairs, installations, and general handyman duties as needed.
- Install baseboards, moldings, and trim with precise cuts and clean finishes.
- Prep and perform basic paint touch-ups and wall finishes as needed.
- Assist field teams with setup, cleanup, and light construction support.
- Communicate professionally with clients, designers, and team members
- Safely operate power tools and equipment in accordance with company and safety standards.
- Report progress, issues, or delays promptly to the Project Manager or Field Lead
Driving & Logistics
- Operate company vehicles to transport goods between warehouse, vendors, and job sites.
- Operate forklift proficiently
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a professional driving standard at all times.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and report any maintenance needs.
Warehouse Management
- Receive, organize, and maintain inventory, tools, and supplies in the warehouse.
- Prepare and stage materials for upcoming projects.
- Track incoming and outgoing deliveries; ensure accurate documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
