Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and assisting residents with daily living activities while maintaining their dignity, comfort, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as eating, toileting, and medication reminders while maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Observe patients closely for changes in condition or behavior; report findings promptly to nursing staff or supervisors
- Support patients with dementia or Alzheimer's care by implementing specialized memory care techniques and ensuring a safe environment
- Assist with light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a hygienic living space for clients
- Follow home healthcare regulations and protocols while delivering compassionate care tailored to each individual’s needs
Experience
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding)
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
- Document care provided accurately and promptly
- Support patients with emotional and social needs
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, move, and assist patients safely
- Previous CNA experience is preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply.
Schedule
- Day, evening, and/or night shifts available
- Weekend availability may be required
