As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in directing the daily operations of our nursing units, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and satisfaction.
Registered Nurse RN Unit Manager Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of our nursing units, overseeing a team of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants
Develop, implement, and evaluate unit policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Conduct performances evaluations, provide coaching and mentoring, and facilitate staff development and training
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and statistics to track unit performance and identify areas for improvement
Foster a culture of openness, respect, and professionalism, promoting a positive and supportive work environment
Registered Nurse RN Unit Manager Requirements:
Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License (RN)
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a strong background in nursing management
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
