Fire Alarm Tech Apprentice w/Overtime
American Trades Contracting is currently seeking highly motivated and qualified candidates for a Fire Alarm Technician in Claude. If you are a fire alarm technician and ready to go to work, we would like to hear from you!
Pay Rate: $24-$27 per hour
Must be willing to work 50 - 80 Hours each week!
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 year of experience
- Demonstrated analytical ability
- Ability to manage multiple projects and/or tasks
- Proven organizational planning skills
- Ability to act and think independently
- Exceptional time management and basic mathematical skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
- Must have reliable transportation
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for several hours at a time.
- Must be able to work long hours
- Must be able to work on a manlift and ladder.
- Work on a construction site
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
- A basic understanding of circuitry.
- A basic understanding of how to use a multimeter.
- Understand Class A and B circuits and the differences between them.
- A basic understanding of how to read blueprints.
- A basic understanding of fire alarm code.
- Must own your own tools or be willing to purchase them.
- VESDA Experience helpful.
