As our Senior Regional Multifamily Property Operations Manager, you will be a cornerstone of our leadership team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our portfolio. This senior-level role is perfect for someone with a strong multifamily operations background, exceptional people management skills, and the ability to thrive in a startup environment.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of Defined Property Management, ensuring our properties are expertly managed and our residents receive unparalleled service. You will also lead the onboarding of new properties onto our property management platform as we grow and expand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of portion of a 2,000-unit multifamily portfolio across the Greater Los Angeles area.
- Lead property management teams to ensure operational excellence, efficiency, and a high level of service.
- Develop a deep understanding of each property in the portfolio to optimize performance.
- Manage the onboarding process for new properties, including integration into our property management platform.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing operations team, fostering a collaborative and motivated culture.
- Identify and implement best practices and operational improvements across the portfolio.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to establish and execute strategic goals.
- Act as a key representative of DPM, both internally and externally.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in Property management operations, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading diverse teams.
- Hands-on knowledge of property management platforms (experience with AppFolio is a plus).
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a startup environment with minimal oversight and a high degree of accountability.
- A passion for delivering exceptional service to residents and property owners alike.
- Experience with property onboarding and process improvement is highly desirable.
