JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to install, maintain, diagnose, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires strong technical skills, a customer-first attitude, and the ability to work independently in the field. REQUIREMENTS
- 3-10+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair environments
- EPA Universal Certification required
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and refrigeration principles
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel within a company vehicle to different site locations within the region
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems (RTUs, chillers, boilers, VAV systems, etc.)
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and implement effective solutions
- Respond to service calls and emergency repair requests in a timely manner
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and parts/labor documentation
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding system status and recommendations
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and company policies
- Keep service vehicle and equipment organized and well-maintained
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour
