As our IS Specialist your principle duties will consist of: Team member support, Software installations, Software and hardware troubleshooting/repair, preparing PCs for setup and troubleshooting network related issues. This position normally works weekdays, however there may be some evening or weekend events that will require your attendance. Some flexibility in scheduling exist, as long as the company needs are being adequately addressed.
- Support internal customers with Help Desk request for troubleshooting, repairs, & installations of software, hardware and/or networking equipment
- Support interfacing to production equipment for OT communications
- Follow and promote network security standards
- Maintain physical network devices such as: printers, scanner, computers, tablets, switches, Ups, etc...
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- No supervisory responsibilities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong Microsoft knowledge
- Strong Windows software suite knowledge
- Strong customer service focus
- Ability to use any of the following: Powershell, SQL, and other programming Languages (C, Python, HTML, CSS, Java Script & others)
- Basic networking knowledge
- Network troubleshooting tools- probe/toner tool, Antivirus & network storage
- Vmware, PLC, HMI, Robots & databases knowledge is a plus
- Problem solving skills to analyze root cause of software and hardware problems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for internal and external contacts
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field example degree's: Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Management, IT, Network Administration, Computer Engineering or Computer Information Systems.
- 1-5 years experience preferred
ORGANIZATIONAL (AND OUTSIDE) RELATIONSHIPS
- All AIP sections and departments.
Work generally performed in an office and manufacturing environment requires strict adherence to safety policies and procedures.
