Job Summary
We are seeking highly reliable and FIT Personal Assistants for a happy and active 25yr. old young man with severe autism. This is a challenging but rewarding position. Minimum of 8 months commitment requested.
AVAILABLE SHIFTS
Weekdays - Monday thru Thursday 2pm to 9pm (Late Shift). Back Up Occasional Back Up Care is available.
Weekends - Saturday and Sunday 2pm to 9pm (Late Shift) Occasional Back Up Care is available.
Weekdays - Monday thru Friday 9:30 am to 2pm
Early Shift responsibilities include leading a play based educational day program, ADLs, light housework, meal prep, medication administration.
Late Shift responsibilities include protective supervision and assistance with daily living skills. Duties include meal prep, medication administration, dressing, light housework, educational activities, bathing, transporting and accompanying client to various community recreational activities, bathing and bedtime.
Candidate requirements include being organized able to mule-task, have experience working with individuals with autism and ABA training. Additional training will be mandatory and provided in order to maintain client's happiness, cooperation and safety. Candidate must follow specific instructions and ABA protocol on a daily basis. Playful but firm nature is needed. High level of focus, attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
Applicant for late shift must have a safe reliable vehicle (WITH BACK SEATS), insurance, current license/I.D. and fingerprint clearance (can be arranged).
