Machining General Labor
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Machining General Laborer to join our team in Alliance, Ohio. If you enjoy working with metals and take pride in your work, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Join a busy metal fabrication shop where you will work with aluminum, copper, and steel. You will be responsible for operating machines that cut and shape metal, ensuring each piece meets quality standards. This role is essential to keeping production running smoothly while following safety protocols. Hours:
2nd Shift, 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Pay:
$19.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery to cut metal materials (aluminum, copper, steel, etc.) to specified lengths
- Use punching machines to create holes or shapes according to production specifications
- Measure and inspect materials to ensure accuracy and quality
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and always wear appropriate PPE
- Assist with other general labor tasks as needed in the shop
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to operate basic machinery safely
- Attention to detail and quality standards
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience with metal fabrication or machine operation
- Basic math skills for measurements
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous general labor or manufacturing experience preferred
Other Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed
- Follow all safety regulations and wear PPE
