Responsibilities:
- Engage in individual consultations with patients interested in medical cannabis treatment, where you discuss their medical history, symptoms, and treatment objectives. Additionally, host one to two educational events each month.
- Provide comprehensive information about the potential benefits, risks, and side effects of medical cannabis use, helping patients make informed decisions.
- Offer personalized recommendations for appropriate cannabis strains, dosages, and consumption methods based on individual patient needs and conditions.
- Continuously oversee and reevaluate patients' treatment plans for effectiveness, making any necessary adjustments, and conduct follow-up check-ins with new patients 30 days after their initial appointments.
- Stay current with the latest medical cannabis research, products, and regulations, and apply this knowledge to patient interactions and recommendations.
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of diverse cannabis products, their components, and the potential effects they may have, to provide patients with accurate information. This includes being well-versed in various product categories, such as flower, concentrates, edibles, and topicals.
- Arrange in-store table setups twice a week, with each session lasting a minimum of two hours on two separate days. Additionally, schedule renewal sessions as required, and ensure there are five new patient medical sessions booked on a weekly basis.
- Ensure compliance with state and local regulations, including verifying patient eligibility and maintaining accurate records of patient consultations and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with all privacy laws and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Complete required training sessions and stay up to date product knowledge.
- Additional duties may be required as assigned by management.
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, heavily regulated environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Retail experience preferred.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
- Flexibility to work required evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
- Friday, Saturday and Sunday and weekend availability required.
- Ability to handle responsibilities without direct supervision.
- Must be 21 years of age and ability to pass State required background qualifications.
