Overview
Looking for one of the best truss framers in the county. Highest pay available if you are one of the best. We are framing hand frame 2x8 conventional roof trusses (not factory trusses) roofs are 600 sf. Framing walkway sringers as well. If you are not one of the best framers in town please do not apply.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble trusses and framing components.
- Erect metal buildings by installing steel framing, metal studs, and other structural elements with precision.
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, assemble, and secure framing materials efficiently.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks to position trusses and framing members safely on-site.
- Coordinate with construction management teams to ensure timely completion of framing phases while maintaining safety standards.
- Install rebar for concrete forms and assist with concrete finishing when required for foundation work.
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for lifting and positioning large structural components during assembly.
Skills
- Proven experience in metal building erection, frame carpentry, or related construction roles.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical schematics comprehension.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and site safety protocols.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery.
- Familiarity with rebar installation, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, stucco, plastering, woodworking, trim carpentry, and restoration work.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation processes.
