Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing orders and transactions. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Operate the Toast POS system to process transactions and manage sales efficiently.
- Assist customers with menu selections, including upselling items to enhance their dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Sweeping and mopping of the dining room. Vacuum floor mats.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Skills
- Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Toast, is preferred.
- Previous experience in food service environment is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation protocols.
- Ability to upsell products effectively to increase sales.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Bilingual a must
