We are seeking a patient, creative, and engaging 4th Grade Homeschool Teacher to provide individualized instruction in a home-based learning environment. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching elementary school students and supporting children with ADHD. This role requires the ability to adapt teaching methods to keep lessons interactive, structured, and fun, while fostering curiosity and confidence in the student.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a complete 4th grade curriculum (reading, writing, math, science, social studies, etc.) in alignment with state standards.
- Create and implement engaging, hands-on lesson plans tailored to the student’s learning style and pace.
- Support executive functioning skills such as organization, focus, and time management.
- Monitor academic progress and provide regular feedback to parents.
- Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment that emphasizes both structure and flexibility.
- Integrate enrichment activities (STEM projects, creative arts, etc.) when appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education; teaching credential (preferred).
- Prior classroom or homeschool teaching experience (elementary level).
- Specific experience working with children with ADHD or other learning differences.
- Strong communication, patience, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create a balance of structure, movement, and creativity in the daily routine.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate (commensurate with experience).

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
