FL-DOE-OSFA-Budget Analysts-Policy Analyst - The candidate will be doing professional accounting, budgeting & financial reporting.
The training will be very technical & a very good understanding of accounting is critical for success in this job

CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains various specialized accounting records

Compiles and analyses of large amounts of financial data

Ability to read and interpret statutes and regulations

Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) & Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Pronouncements

Understanding of Genal Ledgers, Trail Balances, and GAAP Financial Statements

Knowledge of Microsoft (ex. Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
** Must have CPA or BS in Accounting
** Must have 10+ yrs of working with FASB/GASB
** Must have 10+ yrs of financial statements preparation
** Must be advanced in Microsoft Office
** Must have General Ledger systems experience (Quickbooks, PeachTree, CYMA, FLAIR, etc.)
** Ability to create, update and manage desk procedures
** Must have financial & programmatic compliance audits experience
