Security Officer Full Time Afternoons
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Role in Big Island, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.

Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance, hazard, and/or policy-related issues to the appropriate personnel.

Support daily operations by communicating clearly with site contacts, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related events, observations, and/or response actions.
Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
