Job Summary
We are seeking a teacher to join our team that is able to show our kids the love and comfort they seek, while proving the structure they need.
You will receive free childcare for up to 2 children and receive holiday pay if you accept a full time position. Pay is dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that support child development across areas such as literacy, motor skills, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
- Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and curiosity.
- Manage daily classroom routines including meal times, nap schedules, diapering or potty training, and transitions to ensure consistency and comfort for young children.
- Use effective behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and resolve conflicts with patience and understanding.
- Assess individual child progress through observation and documentation; communicate regularly with parents about developmental milestones and concerns.
- Incorporate early intervention strategies when necessary to support children with special educational needs or developmental delays.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, health regulations, and licensing requirements related to childcare and early childhood education.
Requirements
- CPR certification
- Background check
- Previous childcare experience would be encouraged but not required.
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
