Cafe Manager
Location: Mount Joy, PA
Type: Full-time, hourly (eligible for tips)
We’re hiring a Cafe Manager to help lead our Mount Joy Cafe. This is a hands-on role where the goal is to keep the cafe running smoothly and the team supported. This position is best for someone who has led a cafe or restaurant before and cares about consistency and customer experience.
What You’ll Do:

Support and oversee a team of baristas.

Create weekly schedules and handle staff availability, as well as coverage needs.

Support training of new hires and reinforce standards on the floor.

Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are upheld.

Participate in opening and closing shifts as needed.

Support staff with customer questions or concerns as needed.

Assist with ordering and inventory tracking; receive deliveries and flag shortages or issues.

Keep basic daily logs (inventory, waste, notes) and communicate issues to upper management.

Contribute to team morale and encourage a positive work environment.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience in a cafe, restaurant, or similar food service environment.

Previous leadership experience in a cafe or restaurant setting preferred.

Strong communication skills and a reliable presence.

Organized and dependable.

Willingness to work mornings and weekends.

Someone who enjoys working as part of a leadership team.
