Griffin Resources is recruiting for an Electrical Estimator on behalf of one of our clients in Tampa, FL.

Our client is an established electrical contractor with a strong reputation and long-standing presence in the market. They are seeking an Electrical Estimator to support projects ranging from $500K to $10M+, including schools, healthcare facilities, auto dealerships, churches, retail centers, multifamily developments, manufacturing facilities, and other commercial projects. They value estimators who embrace technology and are always looking for better ways to improve accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration. Our team leverages modern estimating tools and processes rather than relying on outdated methods.
In this role, you'll work closely with leadership, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams to develop accurate, competitive bids that help drive company growth and project success.
What You'll Do:
- Review plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Perform takeoffs and prepare detailed electrical estimates
- Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
- Develop bid proposals, scope letters, and pricing strategies
- Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions
- Support project turnover by communicating scope and expectations to operations teams
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of electrical estimating experience
- Commercial electrical construction experience
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and installation methods
- Experience reviewing plans and specifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with Accubid, LiveCount, Bluebeam, or similar estimating software preferred
- Field experience is a plus

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
