The University Ambassador, Campus Tours position engages with prospective students and families by leading exciting and informative tours through university facilities.
Responsibilities Include:
Lead engaging and informative tours of university facilities that inspire prospective students and families and support a positive visitor experience.
Provide professional, welcoming, and responsive customer service to prospective students, families, guests, and University staff including accurate and up-to-date information regarding
Encourage prospective students and families to utilize Visitor Center resources, including post tour surveys.
Perform administrative duties to include but not limited to, communication via phone and email, schedule tours, support with creating tour schedules and extend invitations for upcoming events.
Assist with coordinating special events and school activities.
Collaborate effectively with Campus Tours staff and University departments to support tour, event, and visitor needs.
Adapt to changing tour schedules, visitor needs, and departmental priorities.
Execute all responsibilities in a manner compliant with accreditation requirements as well as state and/or federal laws/regulations.
Report compliance-related issues or concerns to the Academy’s Executive Vice President, Financial Aid & Compliance and Chief Student Affairs.

Public speaking skills with the ability to engage and inform both individuals and larger groups in a professional and welcoming manner
Comfortable engaging with diverse groups and fielding spontaneous questions from prospective students and families to foster a welcoming campus image
Anticipates guest needs and navigates logistical surprises with professionalism and grace.
Thrives on the move, thinks well on their feet and can smoothly navigate sudden tour changes
Excellent time management & organizational skills for handling multiple responsibilities
Reliable, punctual, professional, and dependable with scheduling
Work Schedule:
Tuesday to Saturday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Compensation:
$25.00 to $27.00 per hour
