A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
As a Technical Program Manager for the combined Central Response Team (CRT) and Core Product Area Compliance Lead (PACL) PMO, you will operate at the intersection of technology, law, and strategy. You will lead business-critical, cross-functional compliance initiatives that ensure Google’s services meet global regulatory standards from day one.
In this high-impact role, you will map complex regulatory obligations into scalable engineering solutions, provide executive visibility into compliance risks, and establish AI-powered automation to streamline operations.
The Central Response Team drives day-one compliance for high-priority global regulatory demands like the DMA and EU AI Act across Google’s product areas. As we scale, our goal is to build a proactively managed, AI-enabled operational compliance engine for Core, aligning global requirements with technical infrastructure and establishing robust defensive protocols.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
