POSITION OVERVIEW
OREQA Technologies is a lean, high-ownership startup manufacturing operation producing industrial products for demanding markets. This Sr. QA Technician role is critical to our zero-defect culture and quality leadership. The successful candidate will own incoming inspection, drive quality systems discipline, and roll up their sleeves across the shop floor when needed.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Core QA Functions (50%)
· Incoming material inspection & supplier quality gatekeeping
· First-article inspection (FAI) & process verification
· In-process auditing & quality gate enforcement
· QMS administration: Document control, ECO/change management, material traceability records
· Supplier quality: Material certs verification, deviation tracking, root cause analysis
· SPC trending & quality metrics to leadership
Shop Floor Support (25%)
· Assembly cell observation & real-time issue diagnosis
· Operator coaching & problem-solving collaboration
· Line troubleshooting & quick resolution
Cross-Functional (25%)
· Warehouse staging material and filling Kan Bans
· inventory integrity management
· Supplier communication (bilingual advantage)
CORE QUALIFICATIONS (Must-Have)QMS & Quality Systems Experience
· 5+ years in manufacturing QMS environment with hands-on experience in at least ONE of the following:
· ISO 9001 (process discipline, documentation, internal audit)
· IATF 16949 (automotive/industrial supply chain, APQP, PPAP, supplier development)
· AS9100 (highly-regulated manufacturing, traceability, compliance frameworks
· Incoming inspection as PRIMARY responsibility (not secondary)
· Understanding of quality systems principles, document control, nonconformance tracking, corrective action
Technical Skills
· Measurement tools: Calipers, micrometers, CMM operation, GD&T interpretation
· SPC/Control charting: Cpk, Ppk, trend analysis
· Supplier quality: Deviation tracking, root cause analysis, preventive action
Warehouse/Logistics Experience
· Inventory traceability systems (WMS experience)
· Material handling & quarantine procedures
· Lot tracking and material segregation
Language Requirement (Preferred)
· Bilingual Spanish/English – fluent speaking & understanding
· Ability to review documents, communicate with suppliers, coach operators in Spanish (critical for Mesa market)
Technical Must-Haves
· ISO 9001, IATF 16949, OR AS9100 experience (5+ years in at least one)
· Incoming inspection specialist (hands-on, not administrative QA)
· GD&T proficiency
· Supplier quality involvement
· Material certification/traceability verification

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
