We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Psychiatrist Medical Director to lead our mental health services with passion and expertise. Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee clinical operations, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations.
- Manage medical records and electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare policies.
- Supervise clinical staff, including psychiatrists, nurses, and behavioral health professionals, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD ) in Psychiatry; post-residency experience required.
- Proven leadership experience as a Medical Director or in a senior clinical management role within a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Demonstrated experience supervising clinical staff.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to lead change initiatives confidently and professionally.
- Knowledge of pharmacology related to psychiatric medications and experience managing medication protocols in accordance with DEA regulations.
