We are currently hiring for our infant classroom, serving children from infancy through 16 months of age.
About the Position
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you'll play a vital role in supporting each child's early development through engaging learning experiences, attentive care, and meaningful interactions. You'll help create a safe, nurturing classroom where children can thrive socially, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and academically.
Who You Are
You're a caring and enthusiastic educator who:
- Has a high school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrates a genuine love for working with infants and young children
- Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills
- Creates positive, nurturing relationships with children and families
- Embraces the mission and philosophy of Catholic education
- Meets all fingerprinting and background check requirements established by the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee and the State of Florida
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care for infants while ensuring their safety and well-being
- Create and maintain a warm, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
- Support children's cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual development through daily activities and interactions
- Plan and implement engaging age-appropriate learning experiences
- Observe and document children's growth, milestones, and developmental progress
- Build positive partnerships with families through regular communication and collaboration
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and compliance with licensing and health requirements
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support a positive school culture
- Model Christian values and help foster a faith-centered learning environment
- Participate in professional development opportunities and ongoing training
