Warehouse Associate (Picker | Packer and Forklift Operator)

A Warehouse Associate will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the accurate preparation of products for shipments and maintaining a well-organized warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare products for small packages and freight shipments by boxing, taping, strapping, and stretch wrapping.
- Utilize pallet jacks, wheeled carts, and other machinery to bend, lift, carry, and retrieve products.
- Read picking lists and packing slips to identify the appropriate shipping method and products for each order.
- Complete start-of-day and end-of-day checklists to ensure warehouse safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Receive, count, and inspect inbound shipments and returns. Communicate with team members and management to store stock properly or report damaged goods.
- Safely handle pallets and individual packages using forklifts, pallet jacks, wheeled carts, or manual methods for retrieval from storage multiple locations within our 11,000 sq ft warehouse.
- Conduct regular cycle counts as assigned and promptly report any discrepancies to management.
- Identify safety hazards and take corrective actions or report them to management.
Requirements:
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Consistent and reliable workplace attendance.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and participate in team lifts of up to 150 lbs.
- Forklift certification or the ability to become certified upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory management roles.
- Proficiency in operating electric pallet jacks, lift tables, or stretch wrappers.
Work Schedule and Benefits
- Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Eastern Time
- This role involves working in a warehouse environment, and may require standing, walking, bending, or lifting for prolonged periods. The standard work hours will be defined, but may require flexibility during high-volume periods.
