- Establishes and maintains positive relationships with referral sources.
- Obtains applicant information by requesting completed applications and medical information, verifying and clarifying information, interviewing applicants and family members, as needed, to better understand the applicants unique needs in treatment.
- Responds to referral calls in a timely manner and with professional communication.
- Verifies patient insurance information and obtains initial authorization from billing dept. for services.
- Assist applicant in sliding fee scale applications, as needed.
- Resolve complaints about admissions by investigating the matter and recommend changes in the company’s procedural policies as needed.
- Assist in the development of brochures and advertisements in order to market the organization and conduct tours with interested visitors.
- Responsible for making changes to participant program enrollments as treatment recommendation or needs change.
- Maintains HIPAA compliance in all actions.
