Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. You will work closely with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, guiding them through their daily activities and fostering their growth through play-based learning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a warm and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and nap times to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a supportive community.
- Assess children's developmental progress and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's growth.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities that promote teamwork and social skills among children.
- Provide care for children with special needs or those requiring additional support as necessary.
- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education, including first aid and emergency procedures.
