Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing assembly line activities, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of mechanical operations within a factory setting.
Pre Requisites:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a Supervisory/Management position in a food manufacturing or other culinary arts related environment.
Duties
- Supervise daily production activities on the assembly line to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to manage inventory and materials needed for production.
- Train and mentor team members on the proper use of hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Monitor production quality and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve fabrication processes and enhance productivity.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the work area and enforce compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment maintenance, and employee performance.

- Must take initiative and have the ability to make decisions when needed;
- Applicant should be aware of all compliances when dealing with Manufacturing standards, USDA, HACCP as well as basic DOL;
- Ability to multi-task
- Basic computer skills needed.
- Flexible Individual - required to work weekends when necessary.
General Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Organize & Supervise multiple departments
- Follow and enforce company policies, procedures & GMP’s.
- Scheduling employees in line with Production, Order Volume and Workload based upon orders received.
- Create Daily Production schedules using computerized systems ensuring availability of raw materials, and components accordingly.
- Complete Daily Shift Report to Manager of Production.
- Ensure all Area Specific Documentation is completed.
- Manage employees hours based on workload.
- Oversee and work closely with Production Leads/General Supervisors.
- Examine current processes and try to improve them.
- Always ensure we are producing SAFE food product;
- Interact with the USDA Inspectors;
- Discipline staff accordingly when necessary;
- Achieve agreed efficiency levels;
- Meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines;
- Interact with other Senior Supervisors to ensure product is produced in a timely fashion in the correct order needed.
Specific tasks may be required on a daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly basis.
