Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to join our team during the day shift, dedicated to providing exceptional support and care to clients in their home . As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing client‘s quality of life by assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and fostering a warm, respectful atmosphere. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and support.
Responsibilities
- Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure clients health status is maintained.
- Support client with medication reminders following prescribed protocols and documentation procedures.
- Provide companionship and engage client in social activities to promote mental well-being and community involvement.
- Maintain cleanliness of clients home performing light housekeeping and keeping up with daily tasks.
- Document care provided accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and communicate effectively with team members about residents’ needs.
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and behavior management techniques.
- Ability to operate a standard passenger car for transportation purposes; valid driver’s license required.
- Experience working with individuals with cognitive impairments is advantageous.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a positive but not required; ongoing training will be provided if necessary.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with client transfers safely; manual handling skills essential.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork, working alongside a care team.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
