The associate attorney will be opening new files, creating litigation plans, conducting discovery, filing and responding to motions, making court appearances as needed (usually via Zoom or telephone), while maintaining exceptional client interaction and contact. The attorney must be admitted to the Florida Bar. Must have active Florida Bar membership in good standing. Must have Juris Doctor degree. Must have 1+ years of experience as an Attorney. Workers' Compensation/personal injury experience is a major plus, but we will train the right candidate so long as there is a passion for learning and doing. Lots of room for growth! This is not a fully remote position (in-office attendance is required for this position-- although we aim to be flexible with this in-office attendance).
We are looking for someone who is driven, dedicated, and excited to help those who have been injured. This position will entail handling injury claims from inception through trial, including attending mediations, depositions and settling claims in a timely manner.
Although this is a salaried position, we offer bonuses based on settlements.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day handling of depositions, motions and hearings.
- Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum.
- Guide clients through the case process.
- Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, review of expert reports and affidavits.
- Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
- Attends mediations either in person or via zoom and manages the settlement of cases they are assigned.
Qualification
- Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
- An active member in good standing with the Florida Bar Association.
- Minimum 1+ years of experience as an attorney.
- Ability to manage high volume of cases and hearings.
- Excellent client service and communication skills.
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
