Must be willing to have fun and lead a dynamic camp program. Hiring for last two weeks of summer camp!
· Help plan and oversee camper activities to include scheduling of daily activities, field trips, and special camp events. Perfect for a teacher or college student looking for a fun, exciting atmosphere. Monday-Friday - no weekends required.
· Guide and teach a range of outdoor activities
· Ensure camper safety and monitor their activities
· Set up and ensure recreation equipment is secure and stored properly
· Supervise campers during meals
· Instruct campers in daily routines and cleanup tasks
· Follow safety and emergency procedures and guidelines
· Work one-on-one with campers
· Instruct and organize camper projects (arts and crafts, dramatics, etc.)
· May perform administrative tasks (attendance etc.) as needed
· Must be comfortable in the water
· Must have a license
Camp Counselor Requirements and Qualifications
· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
· Encouraging to campers and patient when instructing
· Ability to serve as a positive role model and mentor
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Comfortable in a team-player role
· Creative and innovative thinker and planner
· Criminal background and fingerprint check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
