Duties
- Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting dining areas efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting atmosphere
- Support food preparation and delivery by handling food safely and accurately, ensuring timely service to guests
- Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, and food items following safe lifting practices
- Operate POS systems like Toast POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Help with food safety protocols by adhering to proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to guest requests and assisting with seating arrangements when needed
- Support banquet events or special functions by coordinating with kitchen staff and ensuring smooth service flow
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, including banquet or catering experience
- Familiarity with serving, bussing, and food handling procedures enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Experience operating POS systems such as Toast POS is advantageous
- Knowledge of safe lifting practices and manual handling techniques ensures safety during heavy lifting tasks
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and guest interactions
- Prior kitchen or culinary experience, including hotel or hospitality settings, can be beneficial but is not mandatory
