What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff and/or first responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.

Monitor access points and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards to appropriate personnel while supporting daily operations at the location.

Assist with de-escalation, access control, and incident documentation to help support order and continuity of care within a healthcare environment.
Minimum Requirements:
-
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.

Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.

Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting when required.

Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
