Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our fast-paced dealership team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your enthusiasm and automotive knowledge will help guide clients through service options, ensure accurate communication between technicians and customers, and drive service sales. Duties
- Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs.
- Explain service recommendations clearly, using estimating software and automotive diagnostics knowledge to outline necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, brake repairs, suspension work, shocks & struts, and transmission services to maximize customer value.
- Prepare detailed repair orders and estimates using auto estimating tools; communicate these effectively to customers for approval.
- Coordinate with service technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of work.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients regarding vehicle status updates and additional service opportunities.
Skills
- Strong automotive mechanical knowledge including vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, collision repair, and automotive repair procedures.
- Proven experience with dealership operations or auto service management environments.
- Proficiency in estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to upsell services confidently while providing honest recommendations based on mechanical assessments.
- Familiarity with auto service specialties such as transmissions, oil changes, wheel alignments, suspension systems, tire services, shocks & struts, brake repairs, and oil changes.
- Experience in sales-driven roles involving auto estimating, service writing, and client communication.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to drive company vehicles when necessary.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
