Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing pest control services for commercial clients. Your expertise in pest management, along with your ability to operate various tools and machinery, will ensure effective solutions for our customers' pest issues. A strong focus on customer service and safety is essential .
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Apply pesticides and other pest control products in accordance with safety regulations and company protocols.
- Utilize various tools and equipment, including power tools and hand tools, to effectively manage pest control tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and educating them on preventative measures.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatments applied and follow-up recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members to develop effective pest management strategies tailored to specific environments such food processing facitlities.
- Drive company vehicles to job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in pest control is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various outdoor environments.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to pesticide application and handling is essential.
- Schedule includes Saturday work.
