Kai-9 Dog Training is looking to add 2-3 trainers to the team. With a primary focus on in-home sessions with additional opportunities for those with space to do regular boarding and board and train programs out of their home. This is a independent contractor position.
With Kai-9, it’s important that trainers can adapt their methods to not only uphold client comfort and expectations but to ensure pups are learning in a way that best suits where they’re at in their training journey. This is not a one method suits all company.
Most clientele is concentrated in Lakeview, Oak Park, Roseland Chicago, and Evanston. Reliable transportation is a must!
Ideal candidates should have the experience in the following:
Leading in-home private sessions
Experience in doggy daycare or alike fields
Excellent client communication
Tech savvy using whatsapp and email communication
Proficient time management
3+ years experience with reward based AND balance training methods
Bonus** experience in the veterinary field
