About Premier Security Services
Premier Security Services is seeking professional, customer-service-oriented Unarmed Concierge Security Officers to join our growing team. Our officers work at some of the Upstate's premier hotels, restaurants, entertainment venues, golf facilities, and special events.
This position is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy working with people, maintaining a professional presence, and helping create safe, welcoming environments for guests and clients.
Who We're Looking For:
This is not a traditional "security guard" position.
Premier Security Services is seeking mature, professional individuals who understand that the best security officers are often the ones who prevent problems before they occur through awareness, communication, customer service, and professionalism.
Our officers serve as the first impression for many of our clients. Whether working at an upscale hotel, private event, golf facility, entertainment venue, or corporate property, you will be expected to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a strong security mindset.
The ideal candidate is observant, confident, approachable, and professional. We are looking for individuals who can greet a guest with a smile, assist with a customer concern, and identify a developing security issue—all within the same shift.
If your idea of security is sitting in a chair, staring at your phone, or looking for confrontation, this position is not for you.

Schedule
- Evening and overnight shifts available
- Flexible scheduling based on availability
- Opportunities ranging from part-time supplemental income to full-time hours
- Assignments available from approximately 4 to 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional and visible security presence
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, patrons, and clients
- Conduct designated patrols and security checks
- Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation
- Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and policy violations
- Assist with access control and site-specific procedures
- Support a safe, secure, and welcoming environment
- Work closely with supervisors, management teams, and fellow officers
Training Provided
Premier Security Services invests heavily in guard development through:
- In-person classroom instruction
- SLED certification training
- On-the-job field training
- Report writing and documentation training
- Legal issues and use-of-force training
- Ongoing refresher courses and continuing education
Requirements
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Smartphone capable of clocking in/out and completing reports
- Ability to pass a criminal background investigation
- Ability to pass a drug screening (including random testing)
- No visible face tattoos
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to successfully complete all required training programs
- Previous security, military, law enforcement, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required
Uniform Requirements
Premier Security Services will provide the uniform shirt.
