Proteus Homes is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Framer to execute all framing aspects of our residential construction projects. This is a hands-on role requiring relevant experience, and a strong dedication to safety and quality.

Local Candidates ONLY: We are looking for applicants who are located in the North County area(Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos) looking to be employed full time by Proteus (not a contractor).
Reliable Transportation Required: All candidates must have reliable transportation to ensure consistent attendance and timely arrival at our Factory in Vista.
Pay is 25 - $35/hr. (Dependent on experience)
Responsibilities
Proteus Homes is seeking an experienced Framer to work with a team on residential construction projects
Ability to understand structural drawings(lay out walls, floors and roof trusses accurately). Work closely with the design team on possible structural changes during the framing process.
Framing tasks:
- Constructing prefabricated walls
- Roofs
- Floor systems
- Installing sheathing, lay out walls, floors and roof trusses
Safety & quality: Follow jobsite safety protocols and ensure work meets structural and aesthetic requirements
