About the Role
As a Field Service Support Specialist, you will serve as the primary technical bridge between our field engineering teams and our valued customers. You will leverage your deep expertise in industrial machinery to diagnose complex issues, coordinate service logistics, and ensure that our technical operations deliver maximum uptime and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities-
Provide expert technical guidance to field service engineers to ensure rapid and accurate resolution of equipment issues.

Manage the end-to-end service lifecycle, including scheduling, project quoting, and technical reporting to maintain high operational efficiency.

Oversee the procurement and logistics of critical parts and tooling, ensuring all components reach the job site on time.

Act as the central point of contact for resolving service disputes, invoice discrepancies, and scheduling conflicts.

Collaborate with internal departments to integrate advanced machine diagnostics into our standard service delivery models.

Track engineer utilization and project timelines to optimize resource allocation and meet organizational performance targets.
Qualifications-
8-10 years of hands-on experience as a Service Engineer or Technician within the machine building industry.

Proficiency in CNC machine repair, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial automation equipment.

Strong working knowledge of FANUC or Siemens control systems.

Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and cloud-based service management platforms.

Prior experience utilizing SAP for service and inventory management.

Working knowledge of ISO 9001/14001 quality standards.

Professional fluency in German.
