With a strong emphasis on the customer experience and a 24/7 service guarantee, we are seeking an experienced full-time Equipment Repair Technician in our Axis, Alabama office.
Key Job Functions:

Diagnose and repair vacuum trucks, tankers, and related equipment

Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems

Work with diesel engines, pumps, and vacuum systems

Process work order requests including parts orders and requests
-
Other duties as assigned
Occasional travel required.
Hourly pay based on experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

CDL preferred. If a candidate does not have a CDL upon hiring, Vacuum Truck Rentals will facilitate this training.

Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems

Ability to use diagnostic tools and read schematics

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Experience as a diesel or heavy truck mechanic

Vacuum truck repair experience a plus - willing to train the right candidate.

Candidates must provide all hand tools up to 1 and ½ inch along with ancillary tools to do diesel repair. Specialty and oversized tools provided.

Certified Diesel Mechanics preferred.
