We are looking to add an Inventory Associate to our team. If you are a quick learner, fast worker, compliance and rule driven, looking for a job that has advancement opportunities, and willing to start immediately, then you may be the person we are looking for.
The Inventory Associate will assist the Inventory manager by keeping track of the goods and supplies in the retail store or processing warehouse. They will be responsible for accurately counting and documenting products in order to ensure compliance and accurate counts of all inventories.
- Updating inventory counts and maintaining inventory records to share with management and other stakeholders in the business.
- Reporting discrepancies in inventory that indicate theft, such as too little inventory at last count.
- Implementing loss prevention programs to prevent theft.
- Helping with the monthly audits of each location.
- Comparing in-stock inventory to inventory in the system.
- Surprise check of inventory at each location for accuracy.
- Able to use a scanning system to check inventory.
- Able to accurately weigh flower to determine if it is correct stock.
- Able to count thousands of products in one day.
- Tagging and stocking products if needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of cataloging and inventory techniques.
- Skill in basic arithmetic.
- Able to consistently count accurately.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer and inventory management skills preferred.
- Must be able to comply with all state cannabis regulations and company policies.
