We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Partner who wants to build something meaningful—not just work another sales job. This is an opportunity to help shape the future of Black Rose Records while earning uncapped commissions and working toward potential equity ownership based on performance and long-term contribution.
Position Summary
The Business Development Partner will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new revenue opportunities across all areas of the company.
This individual should have an entrepreneurial mindset, an established professional network, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create strategic relationships that generate long-term revenue.
This is not a traditional sales position. We are looking for someone who wants to become a strategic growth partner in the business.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities that increase company revenue.
Build strategic partnerships with brands, agencies, venues, promoters, and entertainment companies.
Recruit artists that align with the Black Rose Records vision.
Secure sponsorships and corporate partnerships.
Generate new clients for Black Rose Media Group marketing and branding services.
Identify licensing opportunities for television, film, gaming, commercials, and digital platforms.
Develop relationships with influencers, producers, managers, and industry professionals.
Generate opportunities for appearances, performances, interviews, podcasts, and events.
Assist with investor and strategic partnership opportunities.
Represent Black Rose Records professionally within the entertainment industry.
Maintain accurate pipeline reporting through the company CRM.
Meet or exceed monthly revenue goals.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in music, entertainment, media, sports, marketing, branding, or business development.
Existing professional network is highly preferred.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently.
Comfortable networking both virtually and in person.
Compensation
This is a performance-based opportunity designed for individuals who want unlimited earning potential.
Compensation includes:
- Competitive commission on all new business personally generated and closed.
- Residual commissions on qualifying recurring accounts.
- Performance bonuses for achieving quarterly revenue milestones.
- Equity consideration based on measurable long-term contributions, leadership, and sustained revenue generation.
Example Commission Structure
- 15% commission on first-year revenue from new clients.
- 5% recurring commission on retained monthly accounts for the first 12 months.
- Quarterly performance bonus after reaching agreed revenue thresholds.
- Eligibility for equity review after 12 months of consistent performance and meeting strategic growth milestones.
Final commission percentages and equity awards will be determined in the Independent Contractor Agreement.
