- Provide friendly customer service
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Stock shelves, coolers, and inventory
- Keep store clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Assist customers with questions and purchases
- Follow food safety and store procedures
- Help with all daily store operations as needed
Requirements:
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team player
- Ability to lift boxes and stand for long periods
- Weekend and flexible availability preferred
- Experience is a plus, but willing to train the right person
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service at the pump and inside the store, addressing inquiries and assisting with product selections
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for fuel transactions and retail sales, ensuring proper cash handling and receipt issuance
- Conduct product demos and upselling to promote store merchandise and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including stocking shelves and merchandising products to attract customers
- Manage inventory levels through stock checks and communicate supply needs promptly
- Enforce phone etiquette standards when handling customer calls or inquiries
- Assist with cashiering duties, including processing payments and balancing cash registers at shift end
- Support grocery store functions by ensuring proper product placement and inventory management
Requirements
- Prior experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in team oversight roles
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear interactions with customers and team members
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts
- Excellent phone etiquette when engaging with customers over the phone or in person
- Experience in grocery stores or retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory
- Must be reliable, adaptable, and eager to learn new skills in a fast-paced setting
